Meet Mark Tedford
Tulsa Republican businessman Mark Tedford is running for the State House to serve as District 69's State Representative. Tedford has worked primarily in the insurance business, Tedford Insurance, since 1992 – a professional background that gives him three decades of experience leading diverse teams with varying beliefs, balancing large budgets, overseeing multi-million-dollar investment portfolios, and serving thousands of clients throughout the nation.

His leadership has earned him numerous awards and recognitions among industry peers; notably, the “Blue Ribbon Small Business Award”. But his dedication to hard work doesn’t stop at the door of his business.

Tedford is deeply involved in numerous volunteer organizations. He currently serves as a Member of the Board of Advisors on the Soldier’s Wish Foundation and on the Board of Advisors at Home Church. Formerly, he's served on the Board of the Tulsa Economic Development Council, the Tulsa Chamber of Commerce Small Business Connect, and the Jenks Chamber of Commerce, among others.
​Mark received his MBA from the University of Tulsa and he is proud to call Tulsa County home. He is married to Kristin Tedford and they have four children – Lauren, Landon, Lathan, and Lanning. They are actively involved in their church, the Republican Party, and other nonprofit organizations.
